Static mixers contain stationary internal baffles or vanes that bring about
sudden changes in the flow pattern and velocity and create turbulence. There
are no moving parts. It uses energy of the fluid flowing through it to mix
two or more chemicals. For laminar flow, there is a small pressure drop
across the static mixer. Static in-line mixer is used to mix chemicals or
coagulants in water treatment plant.
Napier Reid designs and manufactures wide range of static mixers ranging from
1.5" to 12" line size. Standard material of construction is 304 SS and 316
SS. However, other material of construction can be provided if required.
All units are engineered to provide maximum mixing intensity at
exceptionally low-pressure drop. End connection can be flanged, screwed or
as required by client.
