Clarification is a process or combination of processes to remove suspended
solids from water. This process can remove high percentage of suspended
solids at comparatively lower cost than other processes. It is generally
followed by filtration process.
Clarification process is carried out with help of Clarifier Tanks using
gravity as mode of clarification or Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) clarifiers
using flotation mode.
